Summary:
Mace Snagging Tester is used to rapidly determine the tendency of fabrics to snag, (pull yarn loops from fabric) in normal wear. And suitable for woven and knitted fabrics made by textured yarn, non-textured
yarn, and spun yarn, etc., not suitable for the mesh fabrics, tufted fabric, and non-woven fabrics, etc..
Stainless steel test cabinet with glass observation panel provides with automatic timing of flame spread in 0.1-second increments from ignition. Brushing Device is included.

Test Procedure:
1.Place tubular fabrics specimen on cylindrical drum of test apparatus.
2.Set the counter for 600 revolutions (approximately a 10-mm test) and operate the mace snagging tester.
3.Remove the specimens from the drums.
4.Grade the test specimen and record.
